Joe - URGENT

Meet Joe, a charming 1-year and 5-month-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who is urgently in need of a loving home. He's currently at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter and has been since June 1, 2026. Joe has an upper respiratory infection, which sadly puts him at risk of euthanasia, making his need for a home immediate.

Ideal Home

Joe needs a safe and caring environment where he can recover and thrive. The current shelter conditions, with over 300 dogs in metal warehouses and no outdoor runs, are not ideal for his well-being, especially with his current health condition.

Ongoing Health

Joe is currently being treated for an upper respiratory infection.

Training & Support
