Deitz is a charming Old American Bulldog mix, born in 2013, who embodies the best of his breed. He's a perfect blend of playful energy and affectionate cuddles, and he genuinely believes he's a lap dog! Deitz loves to chew on bones and antlers, and his squeaky toys are his absolute favorite. He came to us after his devoted human mom passed away, and he stayed by her side until he was found by family. Sadly, they couldn't keep him, and now he's ready to find a new family to love and protect. Deitz is a loyal companion who will cherish his people deeply.
Ideal Home
Deitz would thrive in a calmer home where he isn't overwhelmed by a lot of comings and goings. A securely fenced yard would be ideal for him to run and play, but if that's not an option, he'll need daily exercise to stay happy and healthy. He does well with medium to large dogs, but we don't recommend him for homes with small dogs. He is not suited for a home with cats. Older, considerate children would be best, as he is a sturdy boy. He tends to bond more quickly with women, but with a little time and patience, he will warm up to men and become a devoted friend.
