Buckey

Buckey is a handsome, squishy lovebug with a typical Lab personality – sweet, dopey, and incredibly loving. He came to us when his owner sadly lost their home and had to move in with family. Buckey is currently in a foster home, dedicated to his weight loss journey, and he's doing wonderfully! He's a playful boy who adores spending time with his people, whether it's a game of fetch, lounging outside, or simply cuddling up for affection. Buckey is happiest when he's by your side.

Ideal Home

Buckey thrives on human companionship and enjoys active playtime, but also loves to relax.

Ongoing Health

Buckey is on a diet and exercise program to help him slim down. He pulls a bit on the leash and has some anxiety around stairs, but with patience and encouragement, he's learning to manage them. He was born in April 2022, is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Buckey is potty trained and sleeps well in his crate, especially with a blanket for security. He can get a little overexcited when meeting new people and may jump, but he responds well to redirection and has a strong desire to please.
