Pop

Hello there! I'm Pop, a super happy and affectionate boy with the softest fur and adorable white markings on my nose. My fur is a bit thicker and fuller than a typical Pittie, suggesting some other amazing breeds might be in my mix! I arrived from New Mexico with my siblings and, though I was young, I'm now ready to find my forever family. I'm already potty trained and have a clever way of letting you know when I need to go out. I'm also kennel trained, but to be honest, I'm not a big fan of being confined. I can usually find my way out and tend to bark, but I promise not to destroy anything if left to roam while you're away – I just prefer not to be in a kennel. At night, I love to be close to my foster mom for warmth and cuddles!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home with older, dog-savvy children, as I can be a little shy and barky with new people, especially kids, at first. It takes me a moment to warm up, but once I do, I'm all about the kisses! I would also love to have another dog friend in the home, as I enjoy playing and wrestling with my foster siblings. Sleeping in bed with my people is a must!

Training & Support

I know "sit," "stay," "wait," and "come," and I'm working on "down" and "off." I'm very food-motivated, especially by peanut butter and yogurt, and I'm learning to be more gentle when taking treats, thanks to my foster mom's patient training. I would benefit from a family willing to continue reinforcing my good manners and celebrating my progress.
