About Kanga

Kanga is a gentle giant who loves to cuddle and go on long walks, especially if there are squirrels to be found! He enjoys rolling in the grass and making new friends, both furry and human. When he’s not out and about, Kanga enjoys spending time with his feline best friend or relaxing in his crate with his favorite blankets and toys.

Kanga first arrived at APA in 2021 after sustaining a spinal injury that required the amputation of one of his hind legs. He adapted wonderfully to life on three legs and, despite his spinal injuries, he remains a happy-go-lucky, friendly, and affectionate dog. He can climb stairs, jump out of cars, and is always ready for a snuggle on the couch.

Ideal Home

Kanga would love a home where he can enjoy long walks and cuddle time. He enjoys the company of cats and other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Kanga is incontinent due to his spinal injuries. This means he needs a few extra potty breaks throughout the day and wears diapers when inside. He is not aware of his differences and they certainly don't slow him down!

Kanga is a well-adjusted dog who loves to be around people. He is friendly to everyone he meets.
