Rocky is very devoted

Rocky is a sweet and devoted young dog who was rescued from an abusive situation. He was previously kept on a shock collar and was severely underweight. Thankfully, concerned family members intervened, and Rocky is now safe in a loving foster home. He has been examined by a vet, vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Rocky has been gaining weight and has blossomed into a happy, loving little dog with so much affection to give.

Ideal Home

Rocky needs a calm environment where he can take his time to get to know new people and situations. He would not do well in a busy home with lots of visitors or small children. His perfect match would be a single adult female, ideally someone who works from home or is retired, who can give him the patience and space he needs to decompress.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is currently healthy and has been gaining weight appropriately. He has received all necessary veterinary care, including vaccinations and neutering.

Training & Support

Rocky is very smart and sweet. While he is still learning to adjust to new experiences, he is incredibly loving and devoted once he feels secure. He simply needs time and a gentle approach to build confidence.
