Uno - pending

My name is Uno, and I'm a handsome 2.5-year-old, 40-pound gentleman looking for my forever home. Sadly, my previous owner fell ill and could no longer care for me. I'm currently being fostered in St. Louis, MO, and I'm ready to shower my new family with love!

I'm a big softie with tons of affection to give. I enjoy being by your side, whether we're relaxing on the couch or out for a stroll. I'm a bit of a picky eater but I'm learning to love my food, especially now that I'm on a healthy diet and getting daily exercise to help me shed a few pounds. I do have allergies and take Apoquel daily, but with my new healthy lifestyle, they should continue to improve. I absolutely adore giving kisses, getting belly rubs, and snuggling up close!

Ideal Home

I get along wonderfully with other dogs and I'm learning to play with them. I'd prefer not to be the only dog in the house, as I gain confidence by observing other canine friends. I need a patient and gentle owner who will help me explore the world and build my confidence.

Ongoing Health

I take Apoquel daily for allergies. All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.

Training & Support

I am crate trained and housetrained. I'm still working on my leash-walking skills, but I ride well in the car! I don't bark much and I'm good with strangers.
