Skye

Skye is a sweet 3-year-old mixed breed who has overcome a difficult start. She was found as a stray after being abandoned near an elementary school and spent months in the woods. Sadly, she was pregnant when rescued, but complications led to the loss of her puppies. Now, Skye is in a loving foster home, learning to trust and enjoy life as a cherished pet. She has so much love to give and is ready for a patient adopter who can provide her with the extra care and attention she deserves. We know this wonderful girl will blossom into the best dog she can be. We promised Skye the rest of her life would be the best of her life, and we hope you can make that a reality for her.

Ideal Home

Skye is a gentle soul who is still learning about the world. She will thrive in a home that can offer her patience, love, and understanding as she continues to decompress and discover her inner "dog."

Ongoing Health

Skye is spayed, vaccinated, and has no known special needs at this time.

Training & Support

Skye is currently working on her house-training and would benefit from consistent guidance. She is learning to be a dog and will need ongoing support to build her confidence.

Transportation

Skye is located in South Carolina and we provide transport to the Northeast weekly. Potential adopters not located on the East Coast should be prepared to travel to pick her up. We are happy to arrange local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
