Leo

Leo is a handsome, purebred, two-year-old red Dachshund who is a little shy and looking for his forever person! He was rescued from a shelter in Southern California, and we are so glad he's safe with us now. Leo needs a patient person or two who can give him the time he needs to feel secure and open up. He loves toys, treats, and burrowing into cozy beds. He walks well on a leash, is potty trained, and sleeps soundly in his crate. Leo has shown he does well with other dogs, but may do best with dogs that are not extra-large breeds.

Ideal Home

Leo would thrive in a calm household where he has room to decompress and let his true personality shine. Due to his reactivity with quick movements, he would be best suited for a home with adults only.

Leo is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Leo takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he's a snuggle bug who loves to nudge you for attention!
