About Buffy Neal May 26

Buffy is a happy-go-lucky poodle girl who was found as a stray but hasn't let her rough start dull her adventurous spirit. Friendly with people, playful with dogs, and always ready for the next adventure, Buffy is looking for an active family that can keep up with her energy and give her a safe place to explore. She is an affectionate, confident poodle (doodle?) who loves people, enjoys other dogs, and approaches life with enthusiasm. She'll make a wonderful companion for a family ready for adventures and committed to keeping her safely contained. Buffy loves to spend her evenings lounging on the couch and sleeping curled up on the bed. She also loves the company of other dogs and plays nonstop with her foster siblings, both large and small. Buffy is having a ball living on a farm, and enjoys rolling in horse poop!

Ideal Home

Buffy is best suited for active families, outdoor enthusiasts, and homes with another playful dog. She is not ideal for apartments, homes with short fencing, those who work away from home all day, or families looking for a couch potato.

Ongoing Health

Buffy is spayed.

Training & Support

Buffy has a high energy level and requires daily walks, playtime, and opportunities to run and explore. She is athletic and has been known to clear fences, so a plan for off-leash running at least 3 times per week is necessary if a fence is not present. Distance runners or power walkers, or those with plans for doggy daycare, would be a good fit for Buffy's exercise needs. Her caregiver feels she would likely do well with respectful children, but her compatibility with cats is unknown and not recommended without testing.
