About Dahlia Daisy Flower the MINI Lab

Dahlia Daisy Flower is a 10-month-old, 35-pound bundle of joy who is as sweet and delicate as her floral namesake. This "itty bitty labbie pittie" is sure to capture your heart with her playful spirit and affectionate nature. She loves to explore, whether it's on a brisk walk, hitting the trails, or even taking a refreshing dip in a creek! Dahlia's leash skills are impressive, only faltering when a squirrel dares to cross her path. She's a social butterfly with other dogs, always eager to make new friends, and while she's a bit shy with new people, she warms up quickly to reveal her sweet personality. Dahlia is also a fantastic copilot, enjoying car rides and settling in for a peaceful journey. She has a healthy appetite and enjoys her meals at a leisurely pace, showing no possessiveness over her food.

Ideal Home

Dahlia would thrive in a home that can provide her with plenty of exercise and companionship. She would be happiest with another playful dog in the home or with regular visits to doggy daycare, as she truly loves the company of other canines. While she can adapt to apartment living, she'll need ample opportunities to burn off her puppy energy. She has not been tested with cats or children, but is expected to do well with respectful children aged 8 and up. Consideration should be given for homes with shared walls, as she can be vocal when initially left alone in her crate.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia is up-to-date on all her vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Dahlia is crate and house trained, though she may cry in her crate when first left alone. This behavior eventually settles, but requires patience to re-establish in a new home. She enjoys her zoomie breaks and would benefit from consistent reinforcement of her training.
