Mellie

Meet Mellie, a beautiful 5.5-year-old Husky/Samoyed/German Shepherd mix who is looking for her forever home! Mellie is a total outdoor girl who will happily lounge in a big yard for hours, no matter the weather. She's already past the puppy phase, is fully potty trained, and doesn't chew or have accidents, making her a calm and easy companion. Mellie is also great in the car and is comfortable being left alone during a workday. She gets along wonderfully with cats and other dogs and is up-to-date on all her shots and vaccines. Mellie is a smart pup who knows commands like sit and leave it, and she's always eager to learn more. She's also a quiet girl, only barking to let you know she needs to go outside.

Ideal Home

Mellie would love a home with a fenced yard where she can explore and relax. She needs a home without young children.

Mellie is spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccines, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Mellie can exhibit some resource guarding and would do best with an experienced and patient owner who can continue to work with her on this.
