TEDDY

Teddy is a handsome 3.5-year-old, 10-pound pup with a charming mix of Chihuahua, Yorkie, Bichon, and other breeds. He came to us as a matted mess but has since blossomed into a beautiful dog whose coat will require regular grooming. Teddy had mature cataracts in both eyes, but thanks to successful surgery, his eyesight is now excellent! He absolutely adores being a lap dog and will happily snuggle up with his favorite person. Teddy gets along with most dogs, but he prefers calmer companions and would likely do best as an only pet or with an older, quieter dog. He's mostly house-trained and enjoys car rides and walks on the leash. Teddy is ready to be a wonderful companion for the right person.

Ideal Home

Teddy would thrive in a home without children under 8 years old and with experienced dog owners. He would do best as an only dog or with an older, quieter canine companion.

Ongoing Health

Teddy has had successful cataract surgery on both eyes and is now enjoying great eyesight. He is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas/ticks, and parasites.

Training & Support

Teddy is fairly well house-trained but not perfect. He enjoys walks on the leash.
