Honey

Honey is as sweet as her name suggests! This gorgeous girl, born on February 15, 2020, has a resilient heart and loving eyes. She is affectionate, curious, smart, and loves to play – she's even a champ at fetching! Honey is well-behaved and listens well to strong leadership, knowing basic commands and enjoying long walks by your side. Everyone at the rescue adores her, and we can't imagine how such a wonderful dog was abandoned.

Ideal Home

Honey would do best in a home with adults or a family with grown children who can provide strong leadership. Her enthusiasm and energy might be a bit much for very young children. She could also happily live with another dog, provided introductions are done slowly and supervised, and she is not bullied. She enjoys passive female dogs and has a soft spot for puppies.

Ongoing Health

Honey has been treated for tick fever and has been cleared by the vet. She will receive a full medical assessment before leaving.

Training & Support

Honey has completed her training school and is very obedient and focused. She is playful and independent. She enjoys playgroups with other dogs but is a bit picky about her playmates. Initial introductions and playdates with other dogs should be supervised.
