I go by Rowdy Roo, short for Roosevelt, though I'll respond to just about anything: Lovebug, Squeaker King, even Gene Simmons (note my Rock Star tongue.) I'm happy, goofy, and drink from tall water fountains in a single slurp. A Renaissance pup if there ever was one! Perhaps you saw me on TV, looking for that special someone--please enjoy my video! After being in shelter for a long time, I've gotten a taste of the good life--love, nuzzles, a couch to sink into...someone even donated a spa day with my very own bathrobe! Now that I know love is possible, I long to give more of it. I'm so grateful to my temporary fosters, but I crave someone to love for the long haul. Could you be my long-term foster or permanent soulmate?!? All I wanna do is snuggle with my tongue out. I'm an all-around enthusiast— grass, puddles, water bowls on the sidewalk....there's a lot to sniff about. I sit handsomely for treats and have mad skills when they're tossed midair. I love to get my squeak on, and older kids are fun. I also enjoy smiling while slurping from water features. Road trips are awesome, as is cuddling across the front seat. I am partial to butt scratches, and check in often for more butt scratches. My perfect day? A soft surface, a little sunshine, a place to lay my weary tongue, and wherever you are.

Rowdy Roo is very potty trained and completely non-destructive. He takes treats gently and gratefully. He may give a quick woof when life gets exciting, but he settles back down quickly. He does not jump.
