Madea is your classic big, goofy lab with an even bigger heart! She was found as a pregnant stray and has blossomed into a loving and playful companion. Madea is potty trained, kennel trained, and rides calmly in the car. She's eager to learn and incredibly food-motivated, making training a fun experience. If you're looking for a furry friend to share your life with, Madea is ready to be part of your family!

Ideal Home

Madea loves people of all ages and does great with kids. However, she occasionally forgets her size when excited, so a home that can manage her exuberance would be ideal. She's dog friendly and loves meeting new pups, but her excitement can sometimes manifest as leash reactivity because she just wants to play. With a little continued leash work, she'll be a pro!

Training & Support

Madea is already potty and kennel trained, and is working on commands daily. She can be a bit reactive on leash due to excitement when meeting other dogs, but with consistent training, she will thrive. Her food motivation makes her very receptive to learning.
