Piper

Hey there, I'm Piper! I'm a two-year-old Pit Bull/Aussie mix who might be a petite 33 pounds, but I've got a heart full of love to share! I'm a little shy at first, especially on leash, but with a gentle hand, I gain confidence and get moving. I absolutely adore children and get along wonderfully with other dogs. My sister Lilly is my best friend, and I really thrive with the comfort and companionship of other pups, so I'd do best in a home with canine siblings. I haven't met any cats yet, but we can arrange a test if you have one! I'm a playful and gentle soul who just lights up when I feel safe and loved. Belly rubs, butt scratches, chewing on a good bone, and chasing tennis balls are some of my favorite things!

Ideal Home

I would do best in a home with other dogs, as I rely on their companionship. I adore children and would love to be part of a family.

I will be spayed and fully vaccinated before adoption.

Training & Support

I'm a pro at crate training, but my leash walking skills are still a work in progress – I tend to freeze up at first, but I improve with gentle guidance! I'm not quite potty trained yet, but I'm a quick learner and believe I'll pick it up quickly. I also tend to jump up out of sheer excitement, not aggression, and would love some help learning polite greetings.

Transporation

I am currently in Burkesville, KY, but I can be transported to other locations for adoption. A transport fee may apply if volunteer transport is not available.
