Dolly Maple a Staple of Love

If happiness came in dog form, we'd be pretty sure her name would be Dolly Maple. This beautiful chocolate-colored girl is around 5 years old, weighs a perfectly portable 43 pounds, and has the cutest little white socks you've ever seen. We think she may be a Pit Bull/Lab mix, but whatever her breed mix is, it created one seriously perfect dog. Dolly Maple is the definition of sweet. She absolutely adores people and seems to believe that every human was put on this earth to give her belly rubs. Her tail is constantly wagging, she loves cuddles, and she's happiest when she's soaking up affection from her favorite people. One of our favorite things about Dolly is how easy she is. During a staff meeting with more than 20 people, she simply walked in, laid down, and relaxed like she'd been attending business meetings her entire life. Chaos? No thanks. Dolly would rather just hang out and enjoy everyone's company. She's great with other dogs and has lovely manners. While she's not looking for a wrestling match, she's happy to coexist, make friends, and politely share her space. She also met a cat, gave a quick hello, and then decided she'd much rather focus on getting pets from people. She could be an amazing match for a home with feline friends. Dolly is the kind of dog who can fit into almost any lifestyle. Apartment? Sure. House with a yard? Sounds great too. Weekend adventures? Count her in. Lazy movie nights on the couch? Her specialty. One of the cutest things about Dolly Maple is her adorable little twinkle toe. She has a paw that she walks on her tippy toes with, giving her the sweetest little prance when she moves around. The best part? It doesn't slow her down one bit! She still loves walks, adventures, exploring, and keeping up with whatever her people are doing, she just does it with a little extra sparkle. She walks beautifully on leash, loves being with her people, and has a calm, gentle nature that makes her an easy companion to bring just about anywhere. Ideal Home

Dolly can fit into almost any lifestyle, whether it's an apartment or a house with a yard. She enjoys weekend adventures and lazy movie nights on the couch. She is also happy to coexist with feline friends.

Ongoing Health

Dolly is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has been tested for heartworm and will be treated if necessary.

Training & Support

Dolly walks beautifully on leash and has a calm, gentle nature. She has been assessed by trainers on staff and has had behavior modified as needed, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Transporation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
