Soia

Soia is a 42-pound Lab mix who came to us all the way from The Bahamas, where she was rescued by Voiceless Dogs of Nassau. She's had a bit of a rough start and is still learning to trust people and feel safe in new environments. Soia is a shy and nervous girl who is slowly gaining confidence, especially when she has her foster siblings around. She enjoys chewing on bully sticks and indulging in all things dairy, like cheese, cream cheese, and yogurt! She is a quiet girl who loves other dogs and would greatly benefit from a canine companion in her forever home. Soia is generally fine with older, respectful children and hasn't met any cats yet but is thought to be okay with them. She is pee pad trained and can potty outside if comfortable. While she hasn't learned to walk on a leash yet, she's hopeful she'll get there with some support. Soia is currently taking Prozac to help manage her anxiety.

Ideal Home

Soia needs a calm, mellow home with a fenced yard where she can relax and feel safe. A doggy pal would help her thrive and gain confidence.

Soia is taking Prozac to help manage her anxiety. Her adoption fee includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and a microchip.

Training & Support

Soia is pee pad trained and working on confidence building to learn house and leash manners. She is shy and needs time to decompress.
