Jax

Jax is an 85-pound bundle of energy who was found as a stray in Syracuse. He's an eager boy who gets incredibly excited for walks, treats, and any chance to spend time with his favorite people. While he can be patient for a tasty treat, he is also highly treat-motivated, making him a great candidate for learning new things. Jax already knows "sit" and is working on mastering "down." He walks nicely on leash, though he might pull a little at the beginning and end of his walks to show off his strength and excitement!

Ideal Home

Jax would likely do best in a home with experienced dog owners who can help him polish his manners.

Ongoing Health

Jax is up-to-date on his vaccinations and has been spayed/neutered. His adoption fee includes a vet exam, microchipping, flea preventative, and deworming.

Training & Support

Jax is highly treat-motivated and already knows "sit," with "down" in progress. He can pull a bit on leash at the start and end of walks, so continued leash training will be beneficial.
