Sequoia is a sweet 1-year-old German Shepherd weighing in at 38 lbs. She has a strong spirit and a gentle, loving heart. Sequoia is a smart, loyal girl who enjoys being close to her people and thrives on connection, making her a wonderful companion for someone looking for both devotion and companionship.

Ideal Home

Sequoia would do best with a family who can provide structure, patience, and lots of love as she continues her journey. She is a great fit for families with children!

Ongoing Health

Sequoia is heartworm positive, but with proper treatment she can live a happy and healthy life. During treatment, she’ll need a calm environment and limited activity to help her heal.

A staff member will reach out if your application is approved to discuss the adoption process. The adoption will not be final until the adoption contract is discussed and signed. Transportation

Sequoia's $250 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Adopters will meet at a designated meeting spot to pick up their new companions. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application.
