Mandy

Meet Mandy, a hidden gem waiting to shine! Mandy is an estimated 3-year-old, 49-pound mixed breed female who arrived at the shelter with her friends General & Tuff after living with very little human interaction. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, she's making incredible progress every day. While she's still very shy, her sweet personality is beginning to blossom and she's ready for someone who believes in her.

Ideal Home

Mandy will thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard and a friendly, confident dog companion. She needs a patient adopter willing to let her build trust at her own pace.

Training & Support

Mandy is a brilliant girl who is smart enough to figure out how to open the play yard gate (don't worry, we've added a carabiner!) and could be a great candidate for trick training or other fun activities. She is also wonderful on a leash and easy to walk. She gains confidence from other dogs and absolutely loves playing with most other dogs. Mandy may not run into your arms on day one, but if you give her the time, love, and understanding she deserves, you'll watch an incredible transformation unfold.
