Iggy is a loving, soulful German Shepherd with a huge heart and an incredible amount of affection to give the right person. He has been patiently waiting for his forever home for far too long, and he’s more than ready to finally find the family who will see just how special he truly is. This handsome boy enjoys the simple joys in life. Iggy loves long, leisurely walks where he can take in all the sights and smells, followed by relaxing trips to the park where he’s happiest soaking up belly rubs, calm companionship, and quiet moments with his favorite human. He’s not one for chaos—he thrives in peaceful environments where he can feel safe, secure, and deeply connected to his person. Iggy does well in playgroups and can enjoy the company of other dogs in that setting, but at home he would prefer to be your one and only. He truly shines when he has all of your love and attention and doesn’t have to share his space. Being the center of someone’s world is where Iggy feels most confident and content. Like many shepherds, Iggy may take a couple of meet-and-greets to fully warm up, but once he does, the bond is something truly special. When you earn Iggy’s trust, he becomes fiercely loyal, incredibly loving, and happiest right by your side—your constant shadow and devoted companion.
