Kamoku & Kasumi

Kamoku, a 14-year-old, 17 lb Dachshund mix, and Kasumi, a 5-year-old, 38 lb (goal weight 22 lbs) Cairn Terrier mix, are a bonded pair looking for a home together. They were lovingly cared for by their previous owner, whose holiday photo cards documenting their years together tell a story of a cherished companionship. Sadly, when their owner's health declined, Kamoku and Kasumi were surrendered to the shelter. Separated, Kamoku lost his appetite, and Kasumi was inconsolable. They are truly devoted to each other and simply cannot be apart. When together, they are mellow, affectionate, and coexist peacefully with other pets and children.

Kamoku and Kasumi would thrive in a home where they can stay together and receive the love and attention they deserve.

Kasumi is working towards a goal weight of 22 lbs.
