Polly is affectionate, lively, and bold. She likes people and gets along with other dogs, seeming to understand social cues when they don't want to play or share. She is excellent at sleeping on the human bed and rarely barks. Polly enjoys toys and plays fetch, and her zoomies are legendary! She enjoys and seeks out the company of people and loves being petted and held.

Because Polly is a food snatcher, we will not adopt to families with young children.
Ongoing Health
Polly is vaccinated, will be microchipped, and spayed on July 29th. She will be ready to start her new life shortly after.
Training & Support
Polly is house-trained about 70% of the time and enjoys sneaking poops on the rug, though she shows a lot of guilt afterward. Leash training is a work in progress, as she is not yet familiar with it. She is extremely food-motivated and will snatch food from other dogs, and believes anything within reach is hers, including food from your hands or plate. She eats separately from other dogs because she wants to eat all the food.

Transporation
Polly is located in Blacksburg, but can be transported to an approved adopter. Virtual meet and greets are available if the adopter is unable to travel.
