Meet Obi!
Obi is a 52 lb Boxer, Rottweiler, and Pit Bull mix, born in November 2025. This handsome boy has successfully graduated from a 6-week board-and-train program and is now eager to find his forever family! Obi is a smart and energetic young pup with a heart full of love to give. He forms strong bonds with his people and absolutely cherishes one-on-one training time. He's incredibly eager to please, making him a fun and rewarding companion for someone willing to continue building on the excellent foundation he's been given. Despite his energy, Obi has a sweet, affectionate personality and that irresistible wiggly puppy body. After a full day of exercise, training, and adventures, he'll happily curl up and sleep through the night in his crate like the good boy he is. If his future family allows it, he'd be just as happy snuggled up in bed with his favorite human. Obi is at an important stage in his life. He's ready to leave foster care behind and find the person or family he can truly bond with for the rest of his life. With continued consistency, structure, and love, Obi is going to make an incredible lifelong companion. If you're looking for an active, affectionate, well-trained young dog who is ready to be your adventure buddy and your best friend, Obi is waiting to meet you.
Ideal Home
Obi will thrive with an active family that understands his physical and mental exercise needs. Daily walks, hikes, games of fetch, training sessions, and other structured activities are important for his success. Simply putting him in the backyard to burn off energy isn't enough—Obi truly wants to engage with his person and be part of the action. Obi would do best in a home without young children, as he is still learning his manners and doesn't always realize his size. He does well around other dogs and cats and is not aggressive, however, his playful energy can be a bit much for some animals. A tolerant canine companion or a home where he can continue learning appropriate play would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Obi is in good health.
Training & Support
Obi is potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, and has an excellent foundation in obedience. He knows heel, place, sit, down, and down-stay, and is eager to continue learning with someone who will consistently reinforce his training.
