Wyatt of MD

Meet puppy Wyatt! This handsome Eskie boy is about 5 months old and weighs 20 lbs. He arrived with his dad and sibling from Georgia due to his previous owners' health and life circumstances. Wyatt is a bundle of energy who loves to play with toys and do zoomies in the yard. He's a cuddly companion who loves to snuggle and will sleep through the night curled up with you. He also loves to give kisses and is very treat motivated!

Ideal Home

Wyatt needs a family that is active and will entertain him, or he would love a young canine playmate to burn off his puppy energy. He would do well with play dates a couple of days a week if he doesn't have a canine sibling. Due to his young age and lack of exposure to children under 8, he would do best in a home without them.

Ongoing Health

Wyatt is a healthy young pup. He doesn't seem bothered by thunderstorms at least for now.

Training & Support

Wyatt is not yet housetrained or leash trained, but he is learning! He seems to do best with a harness and leash rather than a collar. He knows "sit" and is working on other commands. He will need continued socialization as he grows, but with patience and the right home, he will surely blossom. He is doing well in an exercise pen when his foster mom is at work.

Transportation

Wyatt is currently in Maryland and can be transported to adopters in local states. If you are further away, special transportation arrangements can be made at the adopter's expense.
