Ideal Home

Sandy has a calm demeanor and does amazing with all dogs, matching their energy with her gentle play style. Another dog in the home is a must to help build her confidence. A secure, fenced yard is also essential to provide her with a safe space to explore as she settles in. She does best in a home with older, respectful children who can give her the space she needs to feel secure, as sudden movements can make her skittish.

Ongoing Health

Sandy is fully vetted, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative, and a heartworm test and treatment if needed. She is also microchipped with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Sandy is fully crate trained and 100% potty trained. She is a quiet dog who rarely barks. While she isn't overly treat-motivated, she can't resist Colby Jack cheese, which her fosters use for training and administering medication. She loves her daily walks, remaining non-reactive to distractions, and enjoys short car rides. Her ideal family will be patient and provide a stable, supportive environment to help her continue building confidence.
