Hello there! My name is Thor,

Thor is a handsome 2-year-old Mastiff mix with a heart as large as his frame. He's a big, lovable marshmallow eager to share his affection with his forever family. Thor forms strong attachments and can be protective, so he's working on establishing positive boundaries with his shelter friends. While initially a bit nervous around sudden movements, he thrives with slow, gentle introductions. Once comfortable, he's a wiggly, affectionate companion ready to make friends. He's motivated by praise, treats, and quality time with people, making training a rewarding experience. Thor can be protective of his toys, so a trade-off system or gradual toy introductions will be best. He can get overwhelmed by too much excitement too quickly.

Ideal Home

Thor would thrive in a quiet home without young children, preferably with kids aged 12 years or older. He can be selective with other dogs, but successful socialization may be possible with slow introductions. He has a prey drive towards cats and would require a home without them.
