Jackey

Jackey is a four-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier/Mastiff mix with a shining dark brown coat and an enthusiastic personality. He's a playful boy who's always keen to fetch a ball and enjoys calm, positive play. Jackey loves his daily routine and expresses his desire for long walks and drives with his big, beautiful eyes. After being on the euthanasia list, Jackey was rescued by our organization and is now looking for his forever home.

Training & Support

Jackey has shown great progress with consistent training and positive reinforcement, making him a good companion for walks. He's a quick learner, well-trained on basic commands, and is house-trained. He's also socially well-adapted to other dogs of various sizes, ages, and breeds. His foster family has worked on teaching him discipline to prevent over-excitement during play, meals, or when meeting new people and dogs. He is responsive and picks up new commands quickly, and this behavior is best nurtured with time and love rather than just treats.
