About Hudson

Hi there! I'm Hudson, a 3-4 month old, 20-pound bundle of joy who's mostly Black Lab with a splash of something else that gives me a little white fur. I might be a puppy, but I'm already campaigning to be America's #1 family dog, just like my Lab ancestors! I'm super friendly, love kids, get along great with other dogs, and I'm even polite with cats. My foster family says I'm a professional snuggler, an amateur comedian, and your future adventure buddy. I'm smart, eager to learn, playful, and affectionate – basically, I'm ready for anything you are, whether it's a walk, couch cuddles, or "helping" in the kitchen! I'm incredibly treat-motivated and easy to train. I already know how to sit, down, spin, shake, and give high fives!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a family that will embrace my puppy energy and continue my training. I love being part of the action, so a home where I can join in on family activities would be wonderful. My foster mom reminds everyone that I'm still a puppy and will have typical puppy behaviors like chewing on things (shoes and chair legs are current favorites!), eating sticks, and needing constant supervision.

Ongoing Health

I have a small "ouchie" on the bridge of my nose that's healing up nicely. You might notice it in my pictures or videos, but don't worry, it's almost completely healed! My adoption fee includes my future neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, being current on preventatives, and microchipping.

Training & Support

I'm working hard on my housetraining. I know that potty goes outside, but sometimes I have little "oops" moments indoors – my foster family is helping me with diapers while I master this. I've never had an accident when it comes to poop, though! I'm a superstar in my kennel at night, sleeping quietly through the night, and I'm also good with kenneling when you need a break. I'm super treat motivated and easy to train, and I already know several commands!
