Say hello to William, a 5-year-old, 85-pound, Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix! William is a big, white fluffball who thinks people are the best thing since rotisserie chicken. He's perfected the art of leaning into you for maximum petting and would definitely win a gold medal in adoration.

Ideal Home

William needs to be the only dog in the home, as he prefers to have all your attention to himself. While he enjoys playing with other dogs at the dog park, he doesn't want to share his home or primary focus. He previously tolerated cats but has recently decided they are not okay, so a cat-free home is a must. William is a flock guardian at heart and would do best in a home with an experienced owner who understands livestock guardian breeds. He needs a securely fenced yard, as he will patrol his designated perimeter. He loves being outdoors but his greatest joy is being right next to his favorite people. This gentle giant requires a home without children or teens, as he tends to see them as "badly behaved sheep" who need guarding, which can become overwhelming for him.

William is a sweet dog with a big personality. His guardian instincts are strong, and he needs an owner who understands how to manage these traits.
