Socks (aka Maple)

Socks, who her foster lovingly calls Maple, is a 5-month-old, 20-pound female Lab mix puppy with a heart of gold. She and her sisters had a tough start, being abandoned on the side of a highway in South Texas. They survived for two weeks under a broken-down car before rescue. Despite her challenging beginning, Socks is a remarkably gentle and loving puppy. She's whip-smart, observant, and as sweet as can be, with puppy eyes that are sure to steal your heart. She's already mastered crate training, sleeping through the night for seven hours, and is house-trained, needing to go out every 3-4 hours during the day. Her foster describes her as the easiest of her sisters. If you're looking for a gentle soul with just the right amount of playful puppy energy, Socks might be the perfect companion for you.
