Carmilla

Carmilla is a spirited Doberman mix with a docked tail and a coarse coat, estimated to be around 5 years old and weighing approximately 50 lbs. She was found as a stray near the airport in Houston and has since been living in a foster home in the country, where she's been exposed to horses and chickens. Carmilla enjoys an active lifestyle, preferring adventurous activities over quiet nights in. She's clearly a survivor, having tested positive for hookworms and heartworms in the past, but has since been treated and now tests negative. Evidence suggests she's had puppies before, and she has some scars on her head and worn front teeth, which can be common for dogs who have chewed on things like chains or rocks.

Carmilla would thrive in an active home where she can explore and engage in outdoor adventures. She has been exposed to horses and chickens and has interacted positively with dogs and children of all ages.
