ROONEY - Survivor of Abuse

Rooney is an 8-year-old, 12lb Yorkie mix who has been through a lot. He's a survivor of abuse and is looking for a patient and understanding home to call his own. Rooney has been moved between several foster homes and truly deserves a stable and calm environment where he can finally feel safe and loved. He's a sweet boy who just needs a chance to show his true colors.

Ideal Home

Rooney would thrive in a quiet home with an experienced owner who understands that he needs at least two weeks to decompress and adjust. While he's fine with cats, we don't recommend him for homes with children or other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Rooney is neutered and up-to-date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Rooney is house-trained and crate-trained. He would benefit from continued positive reinforcement and patience from his new family. We ask that you follow the guidance of our trainer to ensure his continued success.
