Winnie

Winnie is a sweet, gentle 5-year-old girl who loves being close to her person. She's happiest when she can spend time nearby, whether that's relaxing at home or heading out for a nice walk together. One of her favorite places is her kennel, where she enjoys taking naps during the day and feeling safe and comfortable. Winnie has a calm nature and good manners overall. She only gets jumpy when she's especially excited, like first thing in the morning when she's happy to see you, but otherwise, she stays relaxed and calm while getting attention. She's very attentive and observant, always watching the people around her. We do not know for certain if Winnie is deaf, but she already responds well to motioning hand signals and would likely do great learning more visual cues with someone willing to spend the time working with her. At her core, she's an incredibly loving dog who wants to bond closely with her people and be part of their everyday life.

Winnie can be a little wary around young children. With patience, consistency, and positive experiences, she has the potential to grow more comfortable over time.
