Chester

Chester has had a rough start in life, enduring neglect and living outdoors through all sorts of weather. When he first arrived at the shelter, he was quiet and reserved, seemingly having accepted his circumstances. But we knew he deserved so much more! Chester is an incredibly sweet and grateful soul who is now experiencing the simple joys of a soft bed, air conditioning, and regular meals. He's learning to trust and deserves a loving home where he can truly blossom.

Ideal Home

Chester would thrive in a calm household where he can continue to learn what love is. He can live with other dogs, provided they are respectful and not overly boisterous, as he can be easily intimidated by loud or wild dogs.

Ongoing Health

Chester has no known ongoing health concerns at this time.

Training & Support

Chester is getting the hang of things! He's fantastic at using a doggy door and is becoming more comfortable with car rides. He enjoys walks and sniff time in the yard, and his preference is for a calm lifestyle, with exercise being secondary.
