Fig Lucas is a handsome 6-year-old Shepherd mix with a curious face and a heart full of love. He's the perfect blend of playful and relaxed, enjoying a short game of fetch or a nice stroll, but always happy to wind down afterward. Fig is cool, collected, and loves all people. He's also dog-friendly with proper introductions and his favorite pastime is playing with squeaky toys! All vetting is covered by the adoption fee, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.

Training & Support

The Pura Sanguine team works with each "Little Hero" on socialization, leash training, and basic commands. Adopters should be prepared for continued training efforts and understanding for their rescue dog.

Fig Lucas is located in Angleton, TX. He is available for transport to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Transport buses are equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and two onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You will be able to follow along on his journey through a private FB Event page with photos and updates. Your Adoption Coordinator will help find the closest transport pick-up location to you.
