At just four months old, Cheerio is a gentle and intentional puppy who loves to be close to his humans, offering quiet companionship and the sweetest belly rubs. He's incredibly tolerant, affectionate, and gentle with children, happily snuggling up to them. Cheerio also excels in his interactions with other dogs, showing playful confidence without being pushy and communicating his needs clearly. He lives harmoniously with both a small and large dog in his foster home and would likely thrive with a playful canine sibling. He's a confident adventurer who walks nicely on leash and handles new environments like a champ. While curious about cats, he has shown an ability to disengage, but further testing is recommended, and slow introductions with dog-savvy cats are advised. Cheerio is a medium-energy pup who enjoys playtime and then snuggling up, making him the perfect adventure buddy and couch companion.

Cheerio is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT.
