Daisy Sue is a 2-year-old, 35-pound spayed female Pointer and Australian Cattle dog mix with a heart full of love and a zest for life! She was brought back to a shelter and was sadly facing euthanasia, but thankfully, we were able to step in and give this incredible girl a second chance. Affectionately nicknamed "Dollop of Daisy," she's a bundle of personality, bringing joy, playfulness, and sweetness wherever she goes. With her adorable zoomies, affectionate cuddles, and a happy-go-lucky love for other dogs, Daisy is the kind of pup who will make every day brighter.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, whether through daily walks, playtime with another dog, or a securely fenced yard. She'd love another friendly dog for companionship, as she absolutely adores other dogs and plays wonderfully with pups of all sizes. Children 10 years or older who understand how to respect a shy dog would also be a great fit. While she's a fantastic work-from-home companion, a calm home with a predictable routine would be best, rather than a busy household with lots of visitors, as she can be shy when meeting new people. She does think shoes are fascinating, so keeping them picked up is a good idea!
Ongoing Health
Daisy is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She has no known health conditions.
Training & Support
Daisy is a smart and well-mannered girl who is fully house-trained with zero accidents. She walks beautifully on leash and is not reactive to dogs, runners, or people. She is also crate-trained and sleeps soundly in her crate at night. Daisy has no issues with resource guarding and politely shares toys and treats. She is very food motivated, which makes training even easier and more fun! While she can be shy when meeting new people, especially men, with patience, gentle voices, and a little space, she warms up and reveals her affectionate, cuddly nature.
