Artie is a fun-loving, high-energy 3-year-old Terrier mix, weighing about 32 pounds. She's always ready for an adventure, whether it's a game of fetch, a run in the yard, or zooming around with her toys. Artie is incredibly smart, playful, and affectionate, and she loves meeting new people with a wagging tail and pure excitement.
Ideal Home
Artie thrives in an active environment and will do best with a family who enjoys walks, playtime, and outdoor activities. While she has done well with large dogs in her foster home, slow introductions are important. She can be a little on edge at first and protective of her toys, but she backs off quickly. She may bark or pull on leash when she sees other dogs, so continued training will help her polish those manners. Artie should continue to be crated when left alone as she is curious and can get into things on counters if unsupervised.
Ongoing Health
Artie is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Artie is house-trained and crate-trained. She may whine a bit when crated but settles down. She rides great in the car, handles stairs with no problem, and loves chewing on toys and cuddling. She is protective of her toys but backs off quickly and has never escalated beyond that. She also recognizes when another dog is done playing. Her ideal home would be patient and ready to continue her training, especially helping her learn to settle calmly and share toys more comfortably.
