Morty Mello the Marshmallow Sweetheart

Morty Mello is a delightful 6-year-old (estimated) pittie mix, weighing around 75 lbs. He's a true marshmallow of a dog, built for comfort and relaxation. Morty has a teddy bear face, a soul of a cozy throw pillow, and the calm demeanor of a dear friend. He approaches life with an easygoing attitude, making him a joy to be around and to love. He's the perfect companion for movie marathons, quiet afternoons, and leisurely strolls.

Ideal Home

Morty would do best in a home with another dog of similar size and temperament – a canine friend who also enjoys a relaxed lifestyle. He doesn't need another dog to be happy, so a home without other pets is also perfectly fine. Morty would also prefer a kitty-free environment. A backyard with space to sunbathe and explore would be wonderful, but he would also adapt well to apartment living due to his quiet nature and excellent leash manners.

Ongoing Health

Morty is generally a healthy boy. As with any rescue, breed and exact age are a best guess.

Training & Support

Morty has wonderful house manners and is fully potty trained. He walks beautifully on a leash and is quiet in his crate. He's an excellent work-from-home companion and an easygoing buddy for neighborhood strolls.

Transportation

Morty is located in Texas. Transport is available nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). There is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
