Mars

Meet Mars! This handsome fellow was found abandoned but is now ready to find his forever home. Mars is about 2 years old and weighs a sturdy 45-50 lbs. He's a ball of fun, always ready for a good romp and loves to play with other energetic dogs. He's also a social butterfly with people and is eager to shower everyone he meets with affection. With a little guidance, he could even share his home with feline friends. Mars would do best in a home with older children who won't be accidentally bowled over by his enthusiastic greetings. His recall is fantastic, making him a promising candidate for a family looking for an active companion.

Ideal Home

A home with older children would be ideal, as Mars can be a bit exuberant. He's also been noted to do well with cats with structure and guidance.

Ongoing Health

Mars is heartworm positive and has begun the slow kill treatment. We will provide monthly Heartgard to his future adopter to cover the ongoing treatment. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Mars is currently boarding with a dog trainer and is learning to be a dog again. He needs continued structure and guidance to thrive, especially in a home with cats.
