Benny

Benny is a handsome brindle boy with the sweetest eyes, who just wants to be loved and feel safe. He arrived from Texas with his brother and has been living in a foster home to learn some manners. His markings on his feet and paws look like socks, which is a great idea for a name! Benny is a great cuddler and loves snuggles when he gets tired, often sleeping in his kennel in his foster parents' bedroom with his favorite toy lambchop. He's learning to let his foster parents know when he needs to go potty at night, and usually makes it through the night.

Ideal Home

Benny would love a home with another dog, but he will be happy in any home that is willing to love him and keep him safe. While he has not been around children or cats, he is a sweet boy who loves to play. He can be a bit rambunctious at the moment, so a home with toddlers might be a tough adjustment for him.

Ongoing Health

Benny is a puppy and is still working on his potty training.

Training & Support

Benny is still working on his potty training but always aims to go on his potty pad. He loves to play with his foster sister Olive, who has taught him to be gentle with his chewing. He also learns boundaries from his foster brother Duncan. Benny loves to run and play with his toys and will ask for cuddles when he gets tired, often falling asleep on the couch while his foster mom works. He takes a few short naps throughout the day and is usually ready for bed around 9 pm.
