Mora is the kind of girl who makes you wonder how a dog can be both a gentle sweetheart and an undercover security system all at once. When she first arrived at the rescue, she was timid and unsure, like a traveler stepping off the bus into a brand‑new city. But thanks to the patience and TLC from a team of kind humans, she’s blossomed into a good-natured, friendly, and downright lovable girl who's decided that life might actually be pretty great after all. Born around December 2020, Mora is wonderfully low-key at home, sweet as can be, and she has just enough protective instinct to make you feel like you’ve adopted your very own fluffy security system (minus the flashlight and the grumpy attitude). She absolutely loves her walks and she's fantastic on a leash, strolling down the sidewalk like she’s hosting her own nature documentary. She does fine with other dogs, but she could easily live her best life as an only dog if it means more belly rubs in her future. Mora is very food motivated, and she turns into a highly focused scholar at the first sign of a treat, ready to “study” whatever you want as long as the tuition is edible. She does prefer new humans to introduce themselves politely and slowly—strangers will initially get a cautious side-eye, but give her a moment and she'll quickly unveil her snuggly, affectionate side. Mora is beautiful inside and out, with the best smile in the neighborhood, a gorgeous hidden treasure who’s finally ready to be found.
