Honey

Honey Comb is a sweet, affectionate, and silly 6-year-old terrier mix weighing 68 lbs. She's the perfect blend of playful energy and chill vibes, always happy to be by your side. Whether she's nuzzling for cuddles or resting her head on your lap, she loves to feel connected to her humans. Honey Comb is also independent and can entertain herself, making her an excellent work-from-home companion. She loves a good zoomie session, neighborhood walks, car rides, and puzzle toys. She greets everyone with a big smile, wagging tail, and a signature "stop, drop, and roll" move that lets you know she's ready for belly rubs. Honey Comb has excellent manners, is smart, and learns routines quickly. She's respectful around food and a joy to live with. She's ready to find a family to fill with cuddles, smiles, and unconditional love.

Ideal Home

Honey Comb would thrive in a home where she can spend plenty of quality time with her people. A fenced-in backyard is a must for her to play fetch and sunbathe. She prefers a quieter suburban or rural area over a busy city, as she loves nature trails and hikes. She'd also enjoy visits to Sniff Spots for playtime. She thrives as the only pet, where she can receive all the love and attention. A home without cats is recommended as her compatibility with them is unknown. She would love human siblings to share her affection with, and it's recommended that any children in the home are 4 years and older due to her enthusiastic tail wags.

Training & Support

Honey Comb is kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained. She shows perfect leash manners on quiet nature trails. She will communicate her need to potty by "tap dancing" by the door. She is not destructive and can be trusted when left alone. She is happy to sleep in a kennel or with her forever family in bed, or on a dog bed next to the bed.

• The adoption fee is $350, which includes an adoption fee of $100 and a transport fee of $250.
• The adoption fee covers all age-appropriate vaccinations, spay procedure, microchip, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, and any necessary vet care while in our care.
• The transport fee covers transportation from Honey Comb's foster home to her forever home.

Transportation

Honey Comb is currently in a foster home in Austin, TX. She can be adopted and transported to various locations; please visit www.wags.com/transport-locations for more information. Transports are monthly, and adoptive families will need to meet the transport to pick up their new family member. Dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to transport.
