Cotton

Hi there! I'm Cotton. I was rescued from a commercial breeding facility along with 179 other dogs. Eighteen of us were brought to Big Lake Humane Society as part of a nationwide rescue effort. Because of the conditions we faced, most of us are still learning what it's like to be a companion dog. We are now safe and being looked after by patient, loving people, and we're slowly learning to relax and embrace a new way of life. We're so grateful for this chance to shine!

Ideal Home

A fenced-in yard is a must, as many of us are flight risks and prone to bolting. It would also be wonderful if there was at least one other animal in the home, as we're all used to having canine companions.

Training & Support

We are all still learning how to be companion dogs. Patience and understanding will go a long way as we continue to adjust to our new lives.
