Hi there! It's me, Patty, with the deep brown eyes and a smile that could melt your heart! I just wanted to give you an update on my journey. I've totally mastered potty training and haven't had a single accident in months. My foster mom is so impressed with my dedication, whether it's snowing, raining, or even super windy (my foster brother isn't a fan of the wind!). She says I'm the best girl ever.
I've really blossomed thanks to my foster brothers showing me the ropes of being a good doggo. I've come out of my shell and love meeting new people who want to give me pets and belly rubs. I'm still learning, though, so I can be a little shy sometimes and get startled by things like yard tools and brooms. But hey, my foster mom says having a quirk or two is okay, and I'm becoming braver every day!
I've mastered the art of playing fetch and will even bring the ball back to you for more fun. I sometimes even initiate playtime by bringing the ball to you and getting your attention. Honestly though, my favorite thing lately is chewing on a yummy bone, antler, or Himalayan chew. I can entertain myself for hours, hopping around, dancing, and tossing my chew toy – my foster mom calls it being goofy, and it makes her laugh!
I've also started obedience training and I'm a pro at "sit" and "wait" for my food. I've gone from being a food vacuum to a polite little lady. While I'd much rather be gobbling up treats and playing with the other pups during training, I'm trying my hardest to make my foster mom proud of what I can learn.
So, that's my update! Won't you consider being my forever family and sharing all my love and awesomeness?
Ideal Home
A home where I can continue to build my confidence and feel safe. While I'm doing great with other dogs, I can still be a bit shy and startled by sudden noises or movements, so a patient and understanding environment would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
I'm a healthy pup who has been spayed and is up-to-date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
I'm doing wonderfully with potty training and am learning quickly in my obedience classes. I'm still a bit shy around new things, so continued positive reinforcement and gentle introductions to new experiences will help me continue to grow into a brave and confident dog.
