Birch Evergreen - Local Boy

Meet Birch Evergreen, an approximately 8-and-a-half-week-old Lab mix weighing around 11.6 pounds as of June 30, 2026. Birch and his littermates, along with their mom Lily, had a difficult start in life after being surrendered due to neglect. Despite their rough beginning, they are now eager to find their happy endings with loving families. Birch is a friendly and energetic pup who enjoys playing with toys and has a special interest in music – a grand piano or giant harp would be ideal, but a baby piano will suffice! When he's not contemplating the universe, he loves to snuggle and shower his favorite people with kisses. Birch is social and enjoys meeting new people, and he's doing great with children. While he hasn't met cats yet, he's not a fan of being left alone and may need time to adjust, making a home where someone works from home ideal. Birch already knows "sit" and "come" and is doing well with leash and crate training. He's expected to be around the size of his 65-pound mother.

Birch would thrive in a home where he won't be left alone for extended periods, ideally with someone who works from home.

Ongoing Health

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption.

Training & Support

Birch will need continued support with all aspects of puppy training, including potty training, leash manners, and crate training. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.
