Hi there! My name is Zoey XII, and I'm a beautiful 8-year-old flashy fawn girl. My previous owners had to surrender me due to life changes and busy schedules, but I'm ready to find my forever family! I'm described as friendly, smart, calm, affectionate, quiet, and obedient. While I am partially blind in one eye and my back legs can get a little stiff if I stay in one spot too long, it doesn't slow me down one bit! I've lived happily with other dogs, cats, kittens, chickens, and even goats, and I seem to get along with everyone. I'm also great with kids of all ages, from tiny babies to teenagers, and I'm friendly with visiting children too. I'm a house-trained and crate-trained girl who knows basic commands. I sleep soundly on a comfy memory foam bed in the entryway at night. When my humans are away, I don't need to be crated and I'm not destructive; I'm happy to stay in a blocked-off area. Outdoors, I'm a good girl and don't dig or try to escape. I do get a little nervous around loud noises like thunder and fireworks. Some of my favorite things include car rides, staying cool indoors on hot days, belly rubs, hugs, treats, leisurely walks, naps, and lots of love! My current owner says I'm a calm and amazing dog who even smiles when I'm happy.
